Most Helpful Positive Review Worth Every Penny
My girlfriend and I took the All Clear on a recent self-supported bicycle trip around Myanmar (Burma) and fell in love with the bottle. We used it numerous times a day to treat the dodgiest Burmese tap water without any problems. It stayed charged for a number of days and we could just charge it up ...

Most Helpful Negative Review V good UV product
This is one of the better UV tools for water. Criticisms: 1. It does not attend to water on the threads so that must be kept in mind when using. Water on threads is contaminated water! 2. Very often (in NH) a stream is dangerous to reach, with very steep banks and fast water. So, hand dipping is ...

Seemed to work very well!

The woman who organized our trip to Peru suggested we buy this water purifying system so we could decrease the number of plastic water bottles filling landfills there. It seemed to work like a dream. The battery charge lasted for about 7 days (most of the water for 4 people); I didn’t re-charge it because in the Amazon they provided filtered water. But we liked it and it’s not heavy or bulky.

CamelBak All Clear a must have for hikin

by Mark the Yosemi, Written on April 3, 2014
I used this product on my trip to Yosemite National Park. I went on a 20 mile hike (Pohono trail & 4 mile trail) into the backcountry with 3 friends. We each carried a gallon of water and went through that in 5 1/2 hours. We stopped at the Bridalveil river bridge and refilled all 4 gallons from the river in 20 minutes, basically during our lunch break. It takes 60 seconds to purify 750ml of wa

Great for traveling in South America. It is quick and by shaking the bottle for 60 sceonds all of the water passes by the UV light for good treatment. It is a little heavy for backpacking though.

It was way better than I imagined!

We were able to haul less water weight and enjoy unbeliebaly great water while hiking in the Sierra. There is nothing better than cold pure and clean water. The Camelbak UV purifer provides that psychological support that you are safe. We drank over 10, 750ml on our two day outing and loved it. It will always be in my pack.
