Just what I ordered!
I had been putting off getting a hydration pack for sometime but I knew I wanted to get one within the Camelbak series. This pack is super lightweight, I have taken it on many bike rides as well as use it when I work on the farm. Even though it's lightweight I feared it wouldn't stand up to vigorous activity but so far so good! Very well made product.
Tips for first time users of a hydration pack: At first I thought my reservoir was defective because when I first used it it leaked. I thought I was overfilling it but you just have to make sure you close it properly. Test is by turning it upside down in the sink or something to make sure that there is no leaking.

arete 18 hydration pack
Bought this pack as a christmas present for a friend and he loves it. Small enough so he can use it hiking, climbing, snowboarding but big enough he can even take to class. One of his favorite and coolest gifts from me:) Thanks campsaver for getting me such a great deal!

Nice bag, could be better.
Love the classic toploading rucksack style! It can fit a ton of gear but only if you want to break a strap 5 miles from the end of an otherwise nice day.
I think my camelback ROGUE is much smaller but built with the user in mind. my old rogue camelback has straps that are integrated into the bag in a much stronger way. The Arete 18 is still a decent bag however I wouldn't plan on filling it up.
