I like this better than the Jet Boil because...
... because of the flip - handle that locks in place. It boils water in 2 min or less like the Jet Boil and is basically a Jet Boil knock off. The Jet Boil does have that cool wrap that glows when the water is ready, but is that feature really worth paying another $40 or $50 bucks? I give this 4 stars only because of the size/wgt compared to a Pocket Rocket or other UL stoves. But the Stryker suits my needs and functions well for the long wknd hikes we take.
Pros:
- Boils 2 cups of water in under 2 min
- Stove and fuel nest into compact unit
- Folding lock handle for easy pour
Cons:
- Takes up space in pack
Best Used for:
- Shorter multi day hikes
