Fantastic. A lightweight, puffy, Hutterite duck down filled hooded jacket. It's obvious Canada Goose really planned the design and worked out each detail in full. Things like a felt chin area. Zipper garages. Soft stretchy cuffs. Down filled waistband. A great hood seamlessly integrated with the jacket. Banded quilting to eliminate down movement. And just looking at how well made it is, you feel i

Style, warmth, and good looks one can only get with Canada Goose outerware. It's a trim fit so I went up one size which turned out perfect.
The red was a bright ruby color which sets it apart from all the other brands red jackets. It's a perfect jacket for those days above freezing and can get you by for short stays below freezing.
Once again the materials and sewing are highest standards.

I've flirted with the idea of buying Canada Goose for a few years now. I always was put-off by the price, and by recommendations of sales reps on various sites where they are sold (not worth the money!). Well, I don't think I agree with them any more. The Lodge Jacket is like putting on full body armor; it's "substantial" -- heavy fabric outer, and fully lined to encase the down so there is no chance of escape. The coat is really well made, and has the feel of a leather jacket (it's heavier than your normal down coat). It comes with a reputation, and lots of documentation as to what it's made from, and where; but, ultimately, it does come down to how you'll use it. For what I wanted, it was just too much coat. You'll want this if you live in VERY cold climates, and are on the go outdoors a lot. It handles 30 degrees and below, according to it's specs, but it's not something you wear in the car to go get groceries -- you'll overheat. I'm a walker, and even in 30 - 40 degrees, it could be too much coat for you (based on just standing outside a while). I have other down coats for extreme cold; I wanted this for the type of day where you needed warmth, but were also going to generate some body heat with exercise. This really isn't suited to that use. Let me say again, you'll love this coat if you're out a lot in colder temps. Since I would be giving it limited use, I decided to give it up so someone else could get more use from it.
