...good news continued
The good news is, that this is one very tough coat that will keep you warm.
This is not a fashion statement type of garment...it's way more than that.
If you're just looking for something that's pretty, look elsewhere, this coat isn't for you.
But if you want a coat that will keep you warm, really warm, then this IS the last heavy coat you will ever buy in your life. It's that good.
If you should wear some part out, you send it back, and they will repair it.
So choose your color well, because you are going to be wearing this coat for a very long time.

Good news and not so good news..
The 'not so good news" is this: The zippers are sewn in backwards..that is to say, the pull for the zipper is on the left instead of the right, like it is with every piece of clothing made in the whole wide world. (Picture the zipper on the front of your jeans.) In order to zip this coat up, you have to hold the storm flap back out of the way then grab onto the zipper pull, all the while trying to find the other end on the right side of the coat, then folding the coat back under it in order to line the two sides up before zipping up.
I've never seen this arrangement on any coat I've ever owned before...maybe that's why nobody else sews their zippers in like this?
And the other thing you may find unlikable is the fact there is NO insulation over the top of your shoulders.
I first noticed this the first time I went to hang my coat up on a hanger.
I thought there must be 3 inches of insulation just about everywhere else, but NOTHING across the top of my shoulders.
I wonder why?
