I hike a lot in all kinds of weather, do some climbing, and a lot foraging so when I was given $1,000 to spend on clothing by my sister in law I jumped at the opportunity to get a really nice cold weather coat for trips in Quebec and Northern Maine. I wanted the coat to be good for use well below zero and water proof or at least very rain resistant. The Skreslet Parka is both of those things but
