Most Helpful Positive Review Great jacket, but runs super large.
This is the Canada Goose to buy if you want to spend time at high altitude, where you need to stay warm, but don't want the super heavy weight of most of Canada Goose's jackets. Bought this in person from Camp Saver. I'm 6'0", 170, and, while I typically wear medium or even a large in other brands, ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Meets but does not exceed expectations
I hike a lot in all kinds of weather, do some climbing, and a lot foraging so when I was given $1,000 to spend on clothing by my sister in law I jumped at the opportunity to get a really nice cold weather coat for trips in Quebec and Northern Maine. I wanted the coat to be good for use well below ze...

high quality

by Randy J., from MI, United States Written on February 18, 2015
my favorite jackets are canada goose. you pay more up front but if you want quality you will find it is worth every penny. not simple "imported" junk. high quality workmanship, keeping manufacturing here in north america. the skreslet jacket is lightweight and easily packable for travel. it is a bit "poofy" and i have considered getting the summit jacket(slightly more compact) for trips around town or when it is not so cold, i mainly use this jacket for skiing for which it does a marvelous job. completely warm on lift, may need to open zipper a touch and vent downhill if temps are in teens or higher. lots of pockets for extra gear for the kids, go pro batteries, etc. sizing can be challenging depending on the fit of the jacket you are interested in. you may wear a medium in this style slim fit jacket but would need a small for the relaxed fit parkas as they are huge and designed to be worn with multiple layers for extreme conditions which you may not need here in the lower 48. refer to the goose website for size chart. If you hate being cold but love being outdoors in the winter you will never buy another jacket after this!!

Nice, but not for my purposes

by Kurt L., Written on February 2, 2015
The jacket has a ton of great features (powder cuff, cinch waist among them), but I just couldn't get over that I looked like the Michelin Man in it. I wanted something to perform functionally and aesthetically. For my 5'11", 160lb frame, the aesthetics just weren't there. Oh, I tried a Medium, and I don't think a small would have worked.

BTW, for reference, the Mountaineer looks good and is a great jacket (though lacking several of the Skreslet features), but the inside wrist cuffs were too tight (hot) for my taste.

Great Jacket. Not what I expected

by LunarAtom, Written on April 3, 2014
Coat is amazingly warm but I feel the fit and finish could have been a little better. I understand that they tend to run a little big due to the need to layer in cold weather but this goes a bit to the extreme. Im 6'0 and about 190lbs and ordered a Medium after returning a Large Canada Goose Summit jacket for being on the big side. When this coat arrived there was barely a noticable change in the
