I've owned just about every variety of Chaco sandals since finding my first pair in 1998 as a whitewater rafting guide. The Z/2 variety is my favorite because of the flexibility it offers. When I need secure, solid, predictable fit (whitewater, hiking, rock-hopping, etc), the toe-loop ensures a secure fit. If I want easier on/off, looser fit, I can fold down the toe loop for a more traditional style. Out hiking, I can use the toe-loop all day, then lounging around camp when it cools off at night, pull on some comfy socks, fold down the toe loop, and I'm still in business without needing multiple kinds of footwear. When I'm not sure what activities my day will hold, it's always my Chaco's that I choose. They are great for wet or dry, pavement or trails, indoors or outdoors... It may seem hard to believe, but I do wear Chacos pretty much for everything where I'm not required to wear safety shoes (work). While I *love* the lighter weight of the Z/volv styles, the Cloud line is terrific for all-day wear. Though slightly heavier (~4oz for the pair in size 12), the additional cushioning makes up for it over the course of 8-12 hr days doing various activities. Bottom line: other than snowshoeing, Chaco's are nearly always my go-to choice, and they never let me down!
Pros:
- comfort, traction, range of use

Haven’t taken them on a trail yet but very comfortable around the house , footbed feels well formed and adjusting the straps relatively intuitive. Delivery was on point . This is my first pair of Chacos and so far I’m very impressed

Chacos are always a little bit heavy, the clouds are lighter which is nice. They are well made shoes. But if you getting this far you probably know of that, got them for a good deal on this website. They deliver them fast and on time and have no complaints
