Columbia Powderhouse Titanium Omni-Heat Winter Boots - Women's

I am a personal trainer and also walk dogs between clients. That said, I can walk upwards of 20 miles per day. I needed something lightweight, warm, with good ankle support, and traction for snow and ice. These fit the bill. Yes, they have a stiff snow-boot feel in the back as some people have mentioned. In my case, that is what I was looking for as the ankle portion of my boots (Sorel, Keen, Ice Bugs etc) soften up too much for my needs when it comes to walking long distances. For the record, I am realitively flat-footed so overpronation (weak feet/ankles) is real.
As for fit: True to size. I wear a EU38, 24cm, typical 7.0-7.5 US. and ordered a 7.0 US (according to manufacturer's size chart). There is room for airflow with a regular athletic sock (I don't wear thicker socks in the winter.)
Pros:
Lightweight
waterproof
Traction
warm
Ankle support
Cons:
Color
Best Used for:
wet weather
Snow and ice conditions
Cold climates
Would recommend: Yes
