I wear a 30 in almost all pants, and most pants just barely need a belt. These were tight. Otherwise I would have kept them. The waistband liner is really soft, and the fabric has a canvas-ish hand that seems like it would be good for bushwhacking.
I can't really rate quality or durability, just fit.
