Cosmic Down 40 Sleeping Bag-Evergreen-Regular-2015
The Kelty Cosmic fit my needs perfectly. I needed a bag that packed down as small as possible b/c I have a smaller 40L backpack. The Cosmic easily squeezes down to about 7” round by 10” long. It is also much more lightweight than the standard, old school sleeping bags I was accustomed to.

I used this sleeping bag on a backcountry hike in Rocky Mountain National Park. Even with a 20 degree liner and a base layer on, this bag was cold at 40f.
There were cold spots all over and my feet totally froze.
I had bought one for my dad as well, and he was cold in it.

I have two of these bags. I was so pleased with the first one I got the second. I've used one back packing Grayson highland state park. With only a big Agnes r-4 rated pad, thin hiking pants and thirst with a fleece jacket. It got down to 18 degrees with wind. I stayed warm. Incredible. all water supply, filtration pumps, baby wipes etc frozen solid. But this bag kept me warm. I highly recommend. Best Buy for the money.
