I haven't had it on the trail yet, but I tried it at home. Reasonably comfortable, seems like it will be great for short backpack trips. Straps are very adjustable. Padding is good. It rolls up to slightly larger than the diameter of a Nalgene bottle.

Pros:

Comfortable, can sit in backpacking tent

Cons:

a bit heavy for long backpacks, good for weekends
