Most Helpful Positive Review High quality, durable, wll protection.
The nevada might be the best backpacking boot for me. the boot is made of one piece leather, which makes it really good for the protection and very durable. the Gtx inside will last a long time. Only thing not so perfect is the weight, it is heavy. but for the heavy duty boot, light weight might be not possible.

Fell short on durability

by TJ, from CA, United States Written on May 25, 2021
I recommend you highly reconsider buying crispi boots buy Kenetrek instead.. I have less than 125 miles on these boots purchased last August and the soles are more than half worn down. I talked to Crispi sales guy and he admitted their soles rubber compounds are not as hard as Kenetrek.. I was told the best they could do was replace the soles for $100. These Nevada insulated boots did not even last as long as my $150 Keen boots. Buy from a company that will stand behind their product. I am 5’8” and weigh 200 lbs.
Pros:
  • Comfortable
  • Comf
Cons:
  • durability
Best Used for:
  • Walking around a rubber track

Great fitting boot

by Ryan, from KY, United States Written on December 6, 2019
These are best fitting boots I’ve ever had. Much roomier in the toe box than my Lowa’s and Asolo’s. I’ll actually have room for thicker socks. However, they are snug around my arch and I have no heel slip. They feel like they will need minimal break in time. I just got back from a late season elk hunt and these were waiting for me. I definitely wish I had them on my hunt. They aren’t rock hard stiff like my Lowa’s which I rarely need. Great all around boot. Great price and fast shipping from Campsaver.
Pros:
  • Fit
Cons:
  • None

Nevada Legend

So far so good I also own Zamberlan and Scarpa boots. I would say the toe width is better than Zamberlan and Scarpa not really a wide just wider than normal but still good to hold your foot in place. I would recommend getting a 1/2 size larger just for toe length. I normally wear 11-1/2 and ordered 12 the shoe length is still shorter than my 11-1/2 boots if I put them sole to sole so I would say they run a 1/2 size small. They feel great out of the box and no problems with sore feet or hot spots, ankle support is better than most boots of this height and I think it is because of the foam they use to protect and cup your ankle bone. Haven't had them long enough to put a lot of miles on so can't speak on that just yet.
