Had the knife for over 5 years.only had to sharpen it once so far. Use it at home,Work,woods, and on the range. This is my second one only because I lost the first one hiking in a fall lol. I bought one for my brother in law to carry while overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan. He loves it also
