Quality. Comfort. Right out of the box!
So happy I bought these (after much vacillating!). These are the best pair of Danner boots I have ever owned. First time wearing them and they weren’t as stiff as my Mountain Cascade pair. I won’t have to break these in at all. Love the fact that they shipped so quickly! Very happy with my first purchase from Campsaver. Back to the boots.... if you know Danner, then you know they make good boots. �

This is my second pair
I have had 6 ankle surgeries and have an extremely hard time finding boots/shoes I can wear. I was amazed that they fit so well right off the bat. Provide great support for hiking and everyday wear. Love them

Nice boots but stiff
I bought these to replace a pair of Bog Alexandria boots which are worn out. The Bogs have elasticized panels on both sides of the ankle which makes them very comfortable. It’s a feel I’m used to so when I put on the Danners which are very nice, they felt stiff, at least to me. I’d recommend them to anyone who hikes a lot and does not mind the stiffness which I’m sure would not last that long. The laces are pale orange and not a very nice color. They do not stay tied due to the content of their fiber. This appears to be a common problem. I did not try the attached round black laces because I did not keep the boots but I suspect they’d work better. I’m in the market for colorful laces made from cotton. If you buy these, you will be too.

Most comfortable style!
A great walking or hiking boot which feels comfortable from the start!
The boot is made from soft, lightweight full-grain leather in a beautiful brown/chocolate color. You also get two pairs of laces, one pair in salmon pink and the other pair in black. You can easily attach these boots to your backpack because of their minimal weight.
Technical elements include a GORE-TEX waterproof liner and a Vibram SPE rubberized EVA midsole. This is what makes the boot so comfortable even when traversing rocky patches!
Do yourself a favor and buy these boots!
