It's amazing and one of best wool socks I ever had ~ perfect and it is true to what Darn Tough said ~ perfect regulates temperature, very well fitting to my feet, socks stay fresh long time, no odor ~ naturally anti microbial, great colors and it made in USA!

Darn Tough but Soooooo Comfortable!!

Purchased a pair of these together with a pair of SmartWool back in the Winter to assess which I preferred. Darn Tough - hands down. They keep their shape; are easy to put on compared to the SmartWool; and feel amazing on. Just purchased six more pair. My new go-to sock for day hikes and every day wear.
Pros:
  • Great structure / Extremely comfortable
Cons:
  • A bit pricey - but worth it.
Best Used for:
  • Happy Feet

Great foundations!

These are a great light to medium weight hiking/hunting sock in a crew height. The merino wool perfectly compliments my Lowa Tibet GTX boots. I will use these socks anytime a non-insulated boot is appropriate for hunting, fishing & hiking. Very happy with my purchase.

  • Cushion sole, great height, great weight when insulated boots are not necessary.

  • N/A

  • Anytime non-insulated boot called for.

Fav Summer Hikers

I usually wear a mid boot and the crew's are just too tall, these micro-crew's provide the coverage needed without all the extra. I've found this much more comfortable during the hot summer months of hiking. I really like the snug fit and don't need to adjust them throughout the day at all. They've held up very well and can't beat the guarantee!
