Best Backpack for Bad Backs
I’m a 54 y/o woman with 30/38 degree scoliosis. I’ve always had trouble finding a backpack that wasn’t hard on my back and neck. I went to Colorado last week with my new Deuter Airlite 26 SL and was comfortable the entire time. I used the backpack as my carryon on the plane, made several day hikes with it, and took it with me everywhere I went around Breckenridge and beyond. Deuter’s made-for-women SL construction is brilliant. With smart weight distribution to the hip area, a cool mesh ventilation system to keep the backpack away from your back so you’re not a sweaty mess, and handy zippered packets that you can reach without taking the pack off, this backpack is perfect. I’m so happy that I found CampSaver!!
Pros:

- Cool
- Great pack for a bad back
Cons:
- NONE

Great day pack
This was exactly what my wife needed, a lightweight day pack with exterior water bottle pockets for someone that doesn't like Camelback type bladders. Air lite suspension allows good airflow behind your back and shoulder straps are padded up top top but transition to mesh to keep weight down and increase airflow.
Best Used for:
- day hikes
