Reviews & Ratings for Deuter Futura Pro 42 Pack
— 1 review — Page 1
I've owned a small deuter futura for over 10 years and the thing is amazing. Like the smaller pack, I like the quality of this pack and really love the strap/suspension system. It fits comfy on the shoulders and hip, with ample adjustments.
My one really big negative is accessibility into the middle of the pack. ie, there isn't any. The big zipper at the bottom really is good for accessing your sleeping bag or whatever else you have in the bottom... or bottom compartment if you decide to seal it into it's own. But from there to the top of the pack... you're S.O.L.. If you need to get something located in the midst of the pack, you'll be taking things out of the pack to get it.
I actually thought that the side pockets had access to the internals of the bag. That'd be perfect. In fact, I've been trying to decide if I'm going to modify this pack and do just that... and some zippers to the internals of those pockets so that I can have mid-pack access.
