My son is 2 1/2 and absolutely loves his new Kikki pack. He has a longer torso than most kids his age so we went with the Kikki pack because the dimensions seemed perfect for his size. I couldn't be more happy with our purchase. Our son has nonverbal autism and one of his therapist had recommended that we get him a backpack that he could wear around when we are out in public as a source of pressure therapy. The chest strap keeps this pack in place and keeps the pack from shifting so the weight in it is evenly distributed upon his shoulders. We had a Deuter hiking pack in the past so I know Deuter is a very durable and well made brand. This is the perfect starter backpack for any young child. You won't be disappointed!
