Smaller size cams usually use totem cams, but dragon cams are lighter than totem cams.
The totem cam does not have a large cam larger than size 2 based on C4, so the DMM cam is used instead of C4.
Compared to C4, it feels tighter on the rock. I like this feeling more stable.

I like this DMM Dragon Cam. It works very smoothly, clings and holds in the rock well. There is convenient adjustment of the sling length. I used it in summer weather and I hope for a good work in winter.

I spend a lot of time climbing at Devils Lake in Wisconsin which is a trad area. I'm not a trad leader yet but you can hike to the top of most of the routes and build anchors to top rope off. Having a set of cams and nuts opens up a lot more routes than just slinging naturals. I haven't used another brand of cams so I can't compare them but I can say the extendable sling has come in handy to keep the carabiner from getting bent around an edge.
Pros:
extendable sling
Cons:
Price, but worth it.
Best Used for:
Trad climbing
anchor building

Love the Red and Green for my rack - the size and color fits to the rest of my rack and the extendable sling has me saving some weight in the long run. Great action and really grips well to the rock. Would trust my life to these for sure.
Pros:

I friend told me to buy these guys instead of any other brands and I am so glad I listened to him and got them. Beter range than any other cams and lightweight enought. Like they share color with C4 so that I don't get confused with the C4 I've already own. Absolutly love them.
