Needed an extra hand to carry equipment & this was perfect . I use an employer provided tree climbing saddle (Buckingham - Classic Pinnacle Saddle 1291T) and it fits perfectly between the webbing . Nice looking and will be very useful . Would buy again and reccomend .

I bought two of these after breaking a caritool and nearly destroying an expensive chainsaw. They installed nicely on my Petzl Sequoia (2019) saddle. They are a bit pricey but far less than a new saw. Typical DMM quality, meaning the finish is flawless. The action is smooth, the gate spring is strong, and the lock mechanism is easy to operate with gloves on thanks to the large barrel and knurling. Using the recommended thread locking compound (a little dab will do), attachment is secure and will not loosen over time. I would have preferred a socket head fastener rather than the included flathead, though that's just a nitpick as I have no intention of moving it now that it's installed. The snag free nose is a great improvement over the caritools that I used previously and the racking horn is very useful when carrying multiple items. The only improvement that could be made is to slightly increase the gate opening, a la the RE transporter, as my 3/4" slings are a bit of a squeeze to get in and out. Overall another great DMM product.
