Climbing rope
This rope has been great so far and, based on past climbing experience, looks like it will hold up. We have not gotten to use it too many times yet, but it moves nicely through the belay device and is light enough to pack out for a longer approach.

Excellent rope
This is my fourth and so far my favorite rope. Right out of the package it is ready to use. It handles really well and doesn’t twist up. The diameter and weight work really well for leading routes for both sport and trad. I’ve also used it for top roping some friends and it doesn’t stretch too much. I really like the duo tech bi pattern aspect for multi pitch climbing. I will definitely buy this rope again.
Pros:
- Bi pattern
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Multi Pitch

Good rope with some nice features
This rope does what you would expect of a rope with Tommy Caldwell's name on it, plus it has a feature I had not seen elsewhere: the markings let you see exactly where the middle of the rope is--no guessing. Also, the bright green color stands out against most rock or snow. The dynamic elongation is good, and the rope's diameter is within the sweet spot of my GriGri 2's range.
