Most Helpful Positive Review You, too, will love this tent
First: we are car-campers, and we like to hang out in our tent in the evenings, especially if the bugs are bad (there's a port in this tent for your electrical cord for a reason). Therefore, portability is not something we really worry about in a tent. That being said, this tent is a great drive-in/...

Most Helpful Negative Review Copper Canyon 6 Tent
Everything with the tent went as expected. Easy to set up, spacious, heavy tent poles). But, one of the mesh windows has a defect. it looks like the mesh was exposed to heat or something because there are streaks and bunched up areas of the window.

Copper Canyon 6

Great tent! Stood up well to heavy rains and high winds. Well constructed and sturdy poles. The 10' x 10' size is perfect for one person to camp in supreme comfort - even two people if you want company. Absolutely love the large windows. Zippers are good. No issues with condensation at all. Waterproof right out of the box. Well constructed. Like having my own private cabin in the woods. Definitely worth the money.
Pros:
  • well constructed
  • good zippers
  • Full standing headroom
  • Large windows
  • Sturdy poles
  • Taped seams
  • Excellent vetilation
Cons:
  • Too heavy for backpacking
Best Used for:
  • Car Camping

Eureka Quality

by Fatman, from MO, United States Written on May 4, 2018
I miss when the average screnned tent was canvas. Eureka stll has steel poles and decent stitched modern materials. The copper canyon is a decent tent for campgrounds with great headroom. I bought this for my daughter's volunteer college trip to Sedona. It is just as well made as the Eurka 6 person A frame outfitter style I bought 12 years ago and still use. I recommend Eureka A frames for high winds. With tents you pay for quality and Eureka are always dependable mid range tents for serious campers.
Pros:
  • Size to stand and stretch.
Cons:
  • Not for high winds.
Best Used for:
  • Federal and state park campgrounds

Good buy

by Byron R., Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on June 19, 2016
Bought this instead of an e-z up to do my cooking in and to second as a storage area. BTW, only electric griddle cooking so don't think I'm nuts.
Didn't like reviews of wind damage for e-z ups and I just used this in 15-20 mph wind gust and it would probably stand 30+. Like the zippered cord pass thru-great idea. Maybe that's normal but I'm not a tenter. E-Z to put up, first timer here and it took maybe 1/2 hr, from now on 15(?). I'd think tough to beat at 200 buck price range.
