Since there were no reviews for this product, I had to speak.
I had one in 1995-2004 and used it say 10 times per year. It was heavy and relatively large, with the tradeoff being a complete and utter bomb shelter for anytime in the southeast to medium elevation, mild-medium weather out west. It sleeps hot, even with vent panels unzipped, if you stake the fly. Fully opened for ventilation, it's hot for southeast summer use and likely overkill. That said, I had it in standing water and it didn't leak at all in flat AL. On the opposite end, I've slept three men in 7 degree F weather and it kept us from freezing in ID.
It really requires staking every time, with a big footprint (a pain on small or rocky sites). But it will structurally hold snow and shrugs off high winds and sleet. Front vestibule is roomy, back leaves room for a couple pair of boots. Having two doors with integrated vestibules is utterly handy. Really a 3-person-with-gear, or fat-cat 2-person tent.
Mine finally died when I was caught out in a likely tornado. 1/5 of a large nearby tree fell at 2am and crushed the front of the tent, WITH ME IN IT. As trusty as a Eureka Timberline tent, but much more capable. If I had known they still made this, I would have repurchased it without hesitation. An heirloom-quality, old skool tent for very reasonable money!
