This tent has a great design and that well known eureka quality that you can feel in the materials they use. I actually purchased the 2 person and the 3 person and ended up keeping the 3 person because the pack sizes are almost the same (about 16x6) and the weights are about within a pound of each other. If you have two people you can always split the weight up and it's nice to have that little bit of extra space. If you are looking to save a little weight however, this tent is very nice. The square bottom and the extra crosspole make it feel much much bigger inside compared to your standard dome tents. Ventilation is also very good, used the 3 person in Red River Gorge, got down to about freezing at night and not a drop of condensation on the inside of the tent or even the fly.
