I just came back from a mountain hike in freezeing temperatures and this tent worked great. Light weight, sturdy, easy to setup and take down. I added a thick plastic ground sheet that I cut out and it still fits in the bag. I leaned my pack against the tent opposite the opening side and pulled the fly over it and used the opening vestibule for my shoes. On a tight budget this tent fit the bil
