Most Helpful Positive Review Perfect for backcountry solo trips
An ideal size for making a meal for one person, this lightweight but highly durable set can serve all of your simple cooking & eating needs. Bonus: it even works with the Jetboil french press insert! I store the french press insert (broken down), a 110g butane/propane gas cartridge, with my Olicamp Kinetic stove and the MSR dish brush inside the pot, which nests nicely inside the mug even with the Snow Peak hotlips on it. I add a titanium spork and a lightweight folding cartridge stand inside the included mesh stuff sack and voila! Everything I need for any meal, all contained in less than 1L ...

Not,- Not bad at all.

by William G. Peters, Verified Owner from MA, United States Written on July 5, 2018
I didn't realize how light a "mess kit" / backpack cooking set could be until I hefted this against my previous one. It's well priced, and IT'S TITANIUM! It doesn't get any better than that. It also heats up water / food faster, something i appreciate because it conserves fuel.

The one thing that I feel could improve this item Is the pot width and height being enlarged at least an inch or larger. The weight would be negligible and stuff could be packed into it if one is concerned about space in the backpack. An added plate would be nice. But this is nitpicking. This item is well worth the price and if you don't believe me, go out and price items like this.
Pros:
  • Lightweight
  • Lightweight and at least it has the bare basics.
Cons:
  • I listed them in my review.
Best Used for:
  • Best used for meals where water is a key component and by a single individual.

Evernew Solo Cookset

by Bob, Verified Owner from MO, United States Written on April 25, 2017
This Ti cookset is perfect.I wanted a 750ml and a dedicated coffee cup. I wanted the cup outside the pot to allow a small fuel canister, a folding Ti spoon, the BR3000 burner, and mini Bic. Not sure, but I don't believe there's many other Ti sets that can do this.

Evernew Titanium Stacking Set Outstanding

by Mark W., Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on March 9, 2017
The design, construction, and quality of this set are superb in every way. The handles are insulated and provide a secure purchase. This is the first time I’ve purchased cooking gear with insulated handles so I cannot comment on the durability of them but they seem robust. The handles on the pot and mug and lid do not flop around freely and stay in the selected position. I really appreciate this!

I own other titanium cookware from Snow Peak and Vargo. This includes Snow Peak Trek 700, Trek 900, Trek 1400, Ti Mini Solo Combo, Ti 300 and 450 Single Wall FH mug, and Ti 450 Double Wall FH mug, and Vargo TI LITE 750 Mug. Again, all in titanium.

I used to think that Snow Peak was the Gold Standard by which everything else was judged. I now think Evernew is the Gold Standard. I still feel that my Snow Peak kit rocks and is extremely well made. So it is not going any ware. But the Evernew kit seems to be just a notch above in quality.

Just what I was looking for for a coffee mug and a food pot.
So your food doesn't have coffee flavor!

Great set!

by Chris M., from GA, United States Written on March 17, 2015
Only used this set once on a 3 day trip in north ga. Works well, is a awesome price and all in all a great lightweight set. The smaller of the 2 doesn't sit that well on wisperlight though. The taller of the 2 sits just fine. Other than that I'm obsessed at how lightweight it is.

An essential item on my list.

This pot is the right size for one person. The accompanying mug fits perfectly over the pot when stacked to conserve space. Will also hold the Titanium DX Set stove neatly inside.

excellent value

by Corn Fed Carpen, from IA, United States Written on September 10, 2013
this tall cooking pot with stacking drinking cup (with folding handles) will nest a solid jelled alcohol portable stove AND a 40 ounce stainless steel water bottle using the included nylon mesh bag. You will need to pack the lid separately if used in that way. Packs to a compact sized load for easy storage. I am highly recommending this product to all of my friends.
