Decent shoe, sizing questionable - Evolv Astroman Climbing Shoe - Mens

Wanted some high-tops to protect ankles in wider cracks, and all day comfort. I'm regular size 12 in 5.10 shoes, and had size 12 in one pair of evolve I've owned.
I had to size up to 13.5 to get the fit I wanted. I prefer 5.10 rubber, but didn't want the Velcro they put on their anasazi hi-top. I think that basically left me with TC pros or these, for high top. These seem to jam good, have a thicker sole, and will provide all day support. I was just surprised I had to go up so far in the sizing. That's my experience for what it's worth.
