I just got into climbing and this is my first time having real climbing shoes and it's defiantly something you have to get used to. They are very tight and stiff, which isn't bad for climbing shoes but something you need to get used to.

These Luchadors by Evolv are the most solid shoes I own. Slightly aggressive with a thick outside build and woven tongue make this shoe great to have in the arsenal.
This show are amazing to do everything in the rock

I bought these times replace some Evolv Raptors that I had worn down. The Raptors were just a little tight in the toe, so I ordered these a half size larger, and after break in they feel about as tight as my Raptors. The downturn of the toe is excellent for edging and overhanging. That being said they aren't a very flexible sole, and the bottom is slightly cupped so slab and crack climbing are not these shoes forte. For bouldering and single pitch face/sport/indoor climbing these shoes are excellent but they aren't an all-around multitool as other shoes.

Wearing a size 12 does not leave a ton of options for climbing shoes, having said that, in looking for a more aggressive shoe as my game is improving significantly, I decided on these.........big mistake. I totally understand that if you can wear a shoe for longer than 10mins, its probably too big, but this shoe was ridiculous as I could not even get it on......

Well built, comfortable shoes, not too aggressive. Size-wise, it is 1/2 size smaller than the Evolv Flash. I also found that the Luchador lace version size is a bit smaller than the velco version.

I went a full size up from my street shoe size. I bought this shoe for the longer multi-pitch routes and was pleasantly surprised that I could use this shoe for everything! You can really dial this shoe in with the laces. Rubber is nice!

I like this shoe a lot. I would have liked an 11.5 size which fits my feet best, but 11 was the largest and it is pretty tight but doable. The shoes feels great on the inside with the large soft tongue. The slightly down-turned toe gives it excellent edging ability. The only complaint I have with it is that the hook straps on the back rub on my heel a lot in the shoe, but it isn't as noticeable when you climb in them. This is a great shoe to get if you want something that's not completely flat but not crazy like the Shamans.
