Climb Like Chris
The Shaman is the more comfortable version of the Solution!! The heal is much more sensitive and sticky as well. I love this shoe with it's wider toe box and easy entry tongue.
The rubber couldn't be any stickier and I really love how the toe box puts your foot in the grab mode without killing your toes. The "Love Bump" in the midsole is like nothing I have worn before and I am very impressed how

My favorite shoe
Not much to say other than the quality of the shoe, I have another pair that I've resoled three times so far. It's my absolute go to, inside and outdoors. Out of the factory you may want to sand it down a bit, it tends to be a bit slick before the first few sessions.

Tight but comfy
Initially I didn’t like how these shoes fit when I tried them on in store. Then my gym had a demo and I thought I’d try them out again and I actually loved them. They fit tight, but if I take a sec to fit my toes in and then pop the heel in, they fit tight but no hot spots. I can’t keep them on for longer than 10 mins, but that’s because they’re tight overall, but again, not b/c there are hot spots. Sticky rubber too, better than Vibram XS Grip in my opinion/experience. Haven’t tried them outside yet though.

Shaman = Send
Great shoe! My preferred shoe for sending hard climbs where great toeing is necessary.

Just like the old Shaman’s only better….
I’ve been climbing in Evolv Shaman’s for a few years. They fit my foot like a glove, and perform beyond any shoe I have used before. Unfortunately, I came to to end of my resole-ability with my last pair, and had to find a new shoe to buy. The new Shaman’s had the same fit as my old, but with a few added components. I was a little weary at first, because the new ‘love bump’ and more aggressive camber changed the feel of the fit. Now that I have been climbing with them for a while, I really appreciate all of the changes Evolv implemented. I work out weekly on steep walls and large roofs at the gym, to keep me ready for the crags on the weekends. These shoes add security and power when I’m on my back and cranking through the last few moves to the anchors. The smaller straps allow for a more precise fit. The down turned toes grab little edges and steep holds like glue. And the added sensitivity over the toes add a greater range of moves on those overhanging routes. This is everything I loved about the older models, with new features that allow me to take my climbing confidently to the next level.

Best boldering shoes
Shaman just fit perfect in my feet... I read some other reviews and bought a 10.5. My street size is 9.0 and fits really great.

Excellent!
Great shoe and fit; superb toe hooking. Inner toe box upper can rub against tops of toes, but breaks in nicely.

Runs small
Had to return them. Seemed like they would climb well — super aggressive rand.

Amazing edging and hookings
These are great - they run very small though. I wear 10 in street shoes, 41 in La Sportiva Solutions, and 42 in Mythos. I got 10 for these and my toe knuckles are still in pain after 3 times to the gym.

So far so good.
So I got these in 12.5 after trying 11.5 and 12. My street shoe is usually 11.5. Really a 12 on the left foot and a 12.5 on the right would be perfect, but hey they were clearance. They are climbing well so far, though I can't help feeling I should have stuck it out with the 12s. That said, they're the comfiest down turned shoe I've ever tried.
