This is the first climbing shoe I've owned, and it does exactly what I bought it for; latching on overhang holds. Don't plan on doing much sidestepping with these, because they aren't for that. The fit is quite snug; I ordered a size above my street shoe and it's the perfect amount of agression I needed. Toes still get sore after an hour or so. Materials are quality and the toe is just amazing. Highly recommend for the overhang specialist shoe.

Climbing shoe is a specialty shoe of course, and the rigid shape of the Talon looked like the perfect foot jam, but unfortunately I am a size 12. I could not believe the label after I tried these shoes on. I thought at least two sizes too small. I actually measured the Talon shoes against a tight pair of minimalist running sneakers that measure exactly 12 inches spur of the heel to tip of the toe.

Great shoe! Takes a bit of time to get used to the downturned toe and they are uncomfortable for some time, but great for edging and pretty much any climb except cracks.
