Has side flaps that can be out down over ears for when the sun is out or if the bugs are bad. Can put up to wear everyday. Easy to pack for camping and withstands the washing machine well so far.
Straings on end of flaps get in the way when doing outdoor work and can interfere and case a safety issue. I would have let them off or made them Velcro.
