Does what it claims!

This shirt definitely keeps me cooler than otherwise. I am very impressed. Sizing is true to the ExOfficio sizing chart. My only critique would be a desire for different colors. Azul is okay, but not great with my skin tone.

Love this shirt! Great for long arms!

I wore this shirt nearly every day for 5 weeks hiking in the high Sierra. Only wish I had purchased 2! Cool and comfortable with great sun protection. I am 5'7.5" 128 lbs and fit perfectly in a small. I have long arms with broad shoulders and am normally unable to use the thumb holes in shirts. Not the case with this hood which is part of why I love it!

Could not have made a better investment...

Bought this for a Philmont trek. There was hardly a day (nor a picture) I didn't wear it. Even on a very hot, exposed day of road hiking, when others in the crew couldn't believe I was wearing 2 layers (OR crew shirt and sol cool hoodie), I was still feeling cooler where it contacted my skin. It proved indispensable.....need another.

ExOfficio has got it right and provides the most functional, quality made, and very stylish clothing!! I LOVE this hoody: can slip it over my tank or tee when going out in the sun on the hot desert days to keep me skin from frying (yes, I remain pale). It has excellent breathability, controls sweat extremely well, is lightweight and…well it’s all over what it’s said it is. I know this will last me a very long time. Highly recommend!!!

Stay Cool While Hiking

This kept me cool and blocked the sun while hiking in a hot and dry Montana weather, but I am not sure if this will keep me cool in a hot and humid Minnesota weather.
