Reviews & Ratings for Exped Deepsleep Mat Duo 7.5
— 3 reviews — Page 1
The DeepSleep Mat Duo 7.5 solves the never-ending debate over paying for a hotel room, sleeping at home and waking up early to get to the trailhead, or getting poor sleep in the back of a vehicle. With an R-value of 8.5, the comfort goes above and beyond any other pad I’ve ever slept on and I no longer dread the cold, and uncomfortable nights that I used to experience sleeping in the back of my car. The DeepSleep features 3 inches of open-cell foam for maximum coziness and warmth. In fact, the DeepSleep is rated down to -45 degrees fahrenheit. I haven’t had the chance to take it out in sub-ze...

Extremely comfortable for a portable inflatable mattress. Bought for use in a roof top tent. Unfortunately purchased the wrong size, so this was a bit wide for the footprint of the tent. It worked, but impacted the zippering.
Bought a cheap portable inflation pump on Amazon (exped makes one but it was sold out everywhere). Took about 3min to inflate each time. Not super compact when rolled up, but very low profile when laid flat.
Pros:
Comfortable
Light
Cons:
Bulky
Best Used for:
Car Camping
Would recommend: Yes

We use on top of two cots in the back of a Toyota Sienna mini van and it is a good mattress to sleep in. We still use sleeping bags on top of it. To store it is difficult to deflate given the size of it. The storage bag is not oversized and the Velcro straps are too short.
Pros:
confortable
Cons:
Hard to deflate & store
Best Used for:
Van / large tent
Would recommend: Yes
