When I first saw this thing, I was a bit perplexed that I never heard of this type of gear. I have not used it for camping yet. However, I used it as a comforter, wore it outside in low teens to let the dog out and I was happy with the results. My arms we the only thing cold when I wore it outside. I was only wearing a t-shirt underneath. I'm been considering buying another for my girlfriend so we could possible combine the when we camped together. But I'd like to test it outside and get a feel for a real warmth rating. I m loving it. And yes people will giggle when you are walking around in it but it's so awesome!

If you've ever tried to get into or out of a sleeping bag and then climb into a hammock it's not the easiest of things to do at times. (cue ungraceful falls ;p)
Being able to pop your arms and legs out and the front zipper make it straight forward and simple.
The baffles around the zips work well to retain warmth.
It's also easy to regulate the temperature if like me, you're prone to overheating i
