It's hard to describe how much I love this mat! I've never done much car camping, but started doing some boondocking this year. My backpacking air mattress just wasn't working for me sleeping in my car on a home built platform. Splurged on got the mega mat and it really changed everything. No more sore achy back and stiff muscles. It is so so comfortable. The insulation is also insane and makes for awesome cold weather camping. Takes a bit of effort to roll it up, but I'm getting better at it. And the carry bag is large and forgiving. Love my mega mat!

car camping

I do a lot of car camping and I have yet to find a mattress that I am satisified with. That is up until I purchased the Exped sleeping pad. I tried it out for three nights on a recent trip to Utah and I got the best nights sleep ever.

This may cost a pretty penny but it’s well worth the money.

Best sleep yet!

This is well worth the price! I highly recommend this mat. I just spent a week camping with this mat and had a wonderful week sleeping while camping. Even if you're a side sleeper, you never bottom out and feel the ground. You can inflate it to be firm or soft or somewhere in-between. It is a great mat!

Best mat on the market...stop searching

Best mat ever you can inflate or deflate a little to adjust to the firmness desired. It worth every dollar you would pay. 5 stars And Exped company the manufacturer of this mattress would do anything possible to help you if you have issue like me(my dog made a puncture with his paw). BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

Why these guys are the PROS

Honestly, both Exped and Camp Saver are top drawer in outdoor equipment, deals and service.
From experience on multiple levels: these are the Professionals, all the other guys are Recreational.

exped megamat 10

Its awesome! It is a thick, firm yet soft mat.
It is comfortable when lying down.The length is long and the width is wide, so it is comfortable.
I also like the design and color. It's easier to bleed than other cheap mats.
It blocks the cold coming from the floor well by blocking the high cold air.

Great Sleep

Spent my first two nights with this pad and it is great. Most comfortable camping mattress I have owned and I have had several name brand camp pads and cots over the last 30 years. Currently I camp once a month, 11 months a year with my sons scout group so comfort is key. I feel it’s the closest thing to a bed you will get.

Comfier Than My Bed

The same comfort it offers as its Duo mat. This mattress has the following pros: Easy to inflate, comfortable than my bed, storage bag is ample, and fits in my Subaru OB. The only con I could think of is I can’t take it backpacking due to its weight.

Maximum Comfort

Great car camping mat that allows you to sleep in luxurious comfort while out in the woods. Compresses to a reasonably small package and is not very heavy. I tested it out on my new platform in the back of my FJ and promptly fell sound asleep.

Just what I want!

I am 5'5", 130lbs. It is perfect length for me and very comfortable to sleep on. I've been sleeping on it for awhile at home before I take it on a road trip. I am very satisfied with Exped MegaMat 10 as it is a very good quality product.
Pros:
  • Small packing size and light weight. Excellent mat for any occasions.
Cons:
  • Haven't tried it outdoor so nothing at this point

  • Car travel, camping and sleepovers
