Most Helpful Positive Review Cool pump
I decided to go with my first non-self inflating mattress and did not want to blow it up by mouth, so I checked out the options and found this cool little device. It actually does inflate my Exped quickly and takes up very little room. I have not gotten it to work with a Therm-a-rest yet, but it mig...

Most Helpful Negative Review Don't Buy it not as advertised!!
The website said it works with other brand air pads and has adapters. It doesn't come with adapters and it can ONLY be used on exPED pads. Don't waste your money.

Easier to use and lighter than even the lightest Schnozzel pumpbag

by Peter Epstein, Verified Owner from WA, United States Written on October 13, 2022
I've had an ultralight Schnozzel pumpbag for years. It worked fairly well when new, but despite being stored in a cool dry place, the interior surface got sticky, making it more tedious to use. Then the seam tape failed, causing the air to leak out rather than going into the mat. That's why I ordered the mini pump, and boy am I glad I did. It's so much easier to use! Inflating my DownMat is now so much easier and quicker.

I like the way you can roll it up and attach the output port to the input, keeping it nice and compact without the need for the stuff sack. Claimed weight is 45 grams. Measured weight is 48 grams for just the pump, and 53 grams with the stuff sack. So it's significantly heavier than spec, which is disappointing. It'd be nice if they made a smaller ultralight version with thinner material and a shorter connecting tube. They should be able to get it under one ounce (28 grams).
Pros:
  • Light and compact
  • Quick and easy
  • keeps moisture out
Cons:
  • heavier than advertised
Best Used for:
  • Car Camping
  • backpack camping

Pump is cool and compact but it said that this works with mats other than Exped and it doesn't. There are no adapters or anything.

Works with thermarests after adjustment

by LAH, from FL, United States Written on May 5, 2014
I got this because my lungs were tired of inflating my neoair thermarest...that coupled with the fact that with the thin matieral of the neoair xlite, you can see all the little water droplets that form from your humid breaths...gross! This can become an issue in freezing environments and can deteriorate the material if not managed. Mold does not belong in my expensive thermarest, just air. The pr

Save your breath...

by JAG, Written on December 12, 2013
If you have a small lung capacity like I do, you would appreciate this mini pump. Filling 2 Exped Synmats gives me a temporary lightheadedness. This would make life easier.

Bonus - you won't be introducing microbes (from your breath) which may result in mold or bacterial growth inside your pads.
