Most Helpful Positive Review Great quality, lightweight, nice details.
Great little tent. Lightweight but doesn't skimp on quality. Roomy inside...doors on both sides open up to nice size vestibules. Really happy with the purchase.

Exped HL 2

by Oslo, Verified Owner from Norway Written on October 20, 2019
My first thought was, that this tent will not perform well in windy situations, but so far so good! It is very light and lots of space for to persons. It is lux if you are alone. I will be looking for a double exped mat, and that will complete the inside comfort of this tent. My daughter of 9, it's proud that she alone has carried, the tent, sleeping bag and the mat :) + 1l water. Nice purchase!
Pros:
  • Light, good material, durable
Cons:
  • Protection under the tent is a must

first impressions

by Julian K., Written on April 27, 2017
Bought this to replace an aging big Agnes seedhouse. My partner has started to hike with me so we wanted something bigger. First impressions from a living room setup: very light, easy to pitch, high quality feel & materials. The pole sleeves are awesome because it means the poles aren't hubbed and don't have all kinds of exotic plastic connectors and pieces. I'm excited to take it out this weekend and give it its first proper test. So far I'm impressed but will update the review once I have some field experience...

Mira II HyperLite Tent - 2 Person, 3 Season

by Adam C., Verified Owner from WI, United States Written on October 17, 2016
The tent is lightweight - my set up (including the Mira II HL footprint and titanium stakes) was 3 lbs 3 oz. The tent sets up very fast which is another plus. The tent does have 2 equal vestibules which is great but they are a little small (for me anyway). I highly recommend leaving the 4 corner stakes in the tent, until you have taking the poles out when doing your tear down. It helps keep the tent from blowing around if its windy.

I know they call this the Mira II which claims to be a 2 person tent but after I put my Exped Downmat 9 LW in it, there was very very little room for another person, let alone another mat. This is just my personal opinion, for others it may not be an issue depending on their sleeping system.

Another great product from Exped.
