I am only giving it four stars as it did not wow me. It is practical and sturdy and will do the job as described. I am a big fan of their pads so I will remain loyal.

Dual purpose....i like it !
Took this baby out, right after it arrived, for a wk long motorbike trip. It worked wonders. I used it to inflate my Exped ul 7 mattress. Makes a great pillow as well! Not many items I take camping can do 2 things...nice to have something do double duty.

Surprisingly comfortable as a pillow.
I wanted a lightweight pump to inflate my Synmat UL 7. The pillow pump did the trick. It was easy to use and inflated my air mattress quickly. I was suprised by how big it was and the weight of the item. I almost sent it back due to the weight.In the past, I used clothes rolled in a stuff sack. Not comfortable. I find myself waking frequently to shift the clothes and sack around for a better posit

More like a pillowette
Using a pump with the Exped Synmat UL keeps moisture and subsequent mold, mildew, smells, etc from inside the mat. Easy to use when I'm short on breathe. Wish it was twice as thick. I have to wrap it in a puffy to get enough pillow size.
