I've used this bag as my suitcase during international travel as it exactly the carry-on size limit and I travel light.
Works well form packing gear for Kayak trips & camping in damp weather.
The single compartment with wide opening makes it easy to load, but a bit of a pain if what you need is on the bottom, so some forethought when packing is required.
