Out of the bag this tent is amazing for the price. Aluminum stakes, poles and footprint included. All great materials and amazing for a tent at this price point. So far I am very pleased with the quality of this tent.

The UL Granite 2P is a great starter backpacking tent for those that are non-ultralighters but prefer to have a end to end floor that could fit two full sized sleeping pads on each side. Most freestanding shelters would try to save weight by tapering the foot end of the tent which would have you revert to using a mummy shaped sleeping pad. That in itself is a calling for a poor sleep. The tent is lightweight weighing at just about 4 lbs if you ditch the footprint and carry just the minimum amount of stakes. It also comes with a footprint, gear loft, and a bunch of other dohickies that other brands would run you up for almost the price of this tent itself. This brand has given lots of legacy brands a run for their money and we can see some of these larger gear brands starting to bring in "entry-level" products
Pros:
- value, performance, looks
- Lightweight and quite waterproof
- Durable and comfy
- verstaile
Best Used for:
- Lightweight backpacking for 1 or 2.
- Lightweight backpacking
- Backpacking (multi-day)

Perfect size for two. Took this tent for our camping trip in Seattle. It's insanely lightweight which made it afterthought for packing. Seriously would recommend to anyone looking for a lightweight tent to bring along with your SO.

I have used the other Featherstone Outdoor tents, but I think this may be my favorite. (Not sure why, just have some attachment to it). Went to a trip to Mammoth and
the nights in the mountains got chilly, but this tent kept us all cozy – not too hot, not too cold, just right.
For any hiking parent looking to keep the crew comfy and worry-free on the trail, the UL Granite Backpacking Tent is the real MVP. It's the tent that turned our Mammoth hike into a family-friendly adventure worth remembering.

Just wanted to drop a few words about my experience with the Featherstone UL Granite 2P tent. I'm not one for fancy reviews, so here's the real deal.
This tent is light. I mean, seriously, it's ridiculously lightweight compared to tents within its price caliber. If you are splitting the weight with a partner it's about 2 lbs each. The setup? Easy as pie. Even for someone like me who usually struggles with tent poles and stakes, this was a walk in the park.
Inside? Surprisingly roomy. I'm a tall person, and I could stretch out without feeling cramped. Plus, it held up like a champ during my trip when it rained.
Now, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. It's not the lightest 2 person tent out there, but there's enough room to fit two wide inflatable pads give the rectangular floor space and not one that is tapered like a big agnes. For a close, and I mean really close tent alternative to the MSR hubba hubba, I would choose the Featherstone in a heartbeat. It's affordable, light enough for my needs, and is quality.
Overall, this tent is my go-to now. It's not perfect, but it's darn close. If you're a backpacker who wants a reliable, lightweight shelter without breaking the bank, the Featherstone UL Granite 2P is worth considering.
No fluff, just my honest take. Happy trails!
Pros:
- Price & quality
- value, performance, looks
- lightweight and comfortable
- Waterproof and breathable, durable,
- includes mesh gear loft and footprint
Best Used for:
- Backpacking for that matter any outdoor activity.
- Backpacking and camping
- Backpacking (multi-day)
