another vest for another occasion
I like vests and so I have an assortment of them. I consider this a casual go out on the town kind of piece of gear more than for rugged outdoor use. It is indeed ultralight which is nice so you don't have the over puffy look. Its a quality piece of gear and I am glad I bought it.

very light, practical
this vest is very light, it effectively blocks wind, has warmth, has multiple pockets, and is very practical for layering or for outer layer. it is much lighter than other similar vests and less puffy than most.
