Five-ten freerider shoes - Five Ten FreeRider Casual Shoe - Mens

These are perfect flat-pedal touring shoes. They are comfortable, provide plenty of support, are stiff enough, and have a footbed cushioned enough, to avoid hot spots on 100+ mile days. They are well ventilated—my feet didn’t overheat while riding in Death Valley. I’ve even had to wear wool socks on cool days.

I’ve been using them with Specialized Bennies pedals and the FreeRiders stick like glue, whether going up long 7% climbs or coming down even steeper grades. Standing or sitting, my feet have yet to slip off the pedals.

All in all, a great shoe.
