Great for trad!
These are my go to trad shoes. Comfy, good for wide, good for smearing.

5.10 Grandstone
I think these shoes are awesome. Fit is great and powerful on dime edges when you need it. I would use these shoes for long sustained routes where you'll be in them all day. Sized for comfort yet still remain performance oriented.

the trad shoe
these shoes are awesome shoes for trad work... the only cons are that they come very true to your shoe size, and my 2 toe is bigger than my first, and thus far I have been extremely uncomfortable for all day multi pitch climbs, but I feel like there might still be some time to break these shoes in.

Great shoe for the 5.10 Trad climber
I love these shoes for long trad routes that involve all disciplines of climbing up through 5.10. Comfortable enough for descents of up to a half hour, hanging belays, great protection for your ankle in off widths. Good protection at toes for twisting them into jams. Stiff enough compared to 5.10 spires to be useful on 5.10 face climbs/edging. I f you are a sport climber looking for a great sh

Nice but these are not TC Pro
As many reviewers stated. Nice and comfy. If you climb trad in 5.5-5.9 range- buy them. If you are looking for cheaper version of TC Pros, these are not.

Solid shoe for trad
I would recommend these as all day trad shoes or Offwidth masters. I got them as a supplement to my TC Pros, which are more technical, but don't take a beating and protect my ankles like the grandstones.
I did 29 pitches in a day in these recently for my 29th birthday and they held up great.

Terrible for cracks...
Bought this shoe for crack climbing and offwidths. The toebox is much too high profile and did not fit well even in 2" cracks... painful when in use due to narrowness of toebox as well. Perfectly opposite dimensions you would want for a crack climbing shoe. The ankle support is painful and creates strange pressure points in the shoe. The rubber is not very sticky even ater 2 days of use. Poor
