Great late summer/fall/spring jacket for NE
Got this jacket for myself and daughter as a summer evening/fall/spring jacket for the NE and has worked out great. It provides a nice outer layer for going around town and it is not heavy. While the inside is not lined, it is soft unlike the rubber shell like feeling of a rain jacket. While it is not a GoreTex type shell, it does resist rain and with an occasional waxing to proof it some more. Overall, we both like this jacket just to take around or leave it in the car in case it gets cooler at night.
Pros:
- All purpose jacket, some wind, some rain, night time walking ... all good!
Cons:
- not waterproof, not lined but still softer than a rain jacket shell
Best Used for:
- walking around town at night and you want something light to carry
