Great pant ever

by Gennadiy, Verified Owner from DE, United States Written on January 13, 2022
This was my second item I ever got from this company and I love them! Like the Sten jacket it's a sleek design and definitely got compliments from these pants. As for water repellence, Like the sten, it's worth having Greenland wax to put a few coats for before your adventures to add more resistance. But other than that the pants are a worthy investment for your hiking adventures!

Great trek and guide pants but size Long is super long

by Cash-Money, from UT, United States Written on March 31, 2019
Love them. Waist fits well. Material is thicker than expected and seems very durable. These are closer to expedition pants than trekking pants. I am a 34 length and find so many pants come short when they don’t indicate an inseam. Therefore if option to get a Ling is there, I usually am glad I select it. The Long on these pants is like a 38” inseam. I had to have them tailored with 3” removed and they are still a 34-35” inseam. I could have ordered the standard pair and been fine.
Pros:
  • durable
Cons:
  • Long is really long
Best Used for:
  • Guide pants

Just as advertised

by ClimbHigh, Verified Owner from HI, United States Written on February 18, 2018
So far, excellent feel and fit. The durability rating seems spot on too - thick, sturdy G-1000 but without the restrictive bulk I thought may accompany. The pants are comfortable to wear and easy to move in. Got a good deal on CampSaver ($79ish) which made the cost/benefit worth the buy. Get yours now!
Pros:
  • Comfortable
  • Pockets
  • colors
Cons:
  • Price
  • foreign made
Best Used for:
  • Camping
  • hiking and adventuring
  • Anything outside

great pant!

by Robot, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on February 9, 2018
This is a great pant, very tough. I'm 5'11, about 176 lbs, usually wearing a 34 inch waist trousers. I also have a vidda pro in size 52, but this version of Barent Pro in size EU 50 fits me very well (and even better). I used these mainly in town and they look really good.

Great pants — double check sizes!

by Robert A., Written on April 30, 2016
I saw these pants on clearance, and jumped at them. They were shipped very quickly and arrived exactly as promised. This material is phenomenal — nothing like I’ve ever seen. Thin enough to not overheat but seem very tough and durable while also being soft. Love it.

Unfortunately, I ordered what was shown as US size 30 (I think it’s Euro size 46). I tried them on and they were way too big, especially in the waist. I measured with a tailor’s tape and the waist was just about 32”. My waist measures almost exactly 30, and I typically wear 30X32. I had to return these for size issues, and they were out of stock on the next size down (which is Euro 44.). I tried on some other Fjallraven pants in size 44, and they fit my waist just about perfectly. So heads up skinny guys, if you were a 30 waist, go for the size 44 in Fjallraven pants.

Campsaver couldn’t have been more understanding and great about the return. They really won me over with their customer service and I can’t recommend them as a company enough. They let me ship back to them for free.

Great fit low profile

by Tom O., Verified Owner from IL, United States Written on January 10, 2016
I really like these pants. They have all the features I want; lots of pockets, articulated knees, and more room in the crotch for ease of movement yet they don't scream out "TACTICAL GUY OVER HERE". They fit well and look good.

Barents Pro Trousers

by Kenneth M., from CA, United States Written on January 6, 2016
Well designed trekking pant. Comfortable, tough and easy to wear with plenty of pockets that are easy to access. Good in the wind but not in the rain although they dry quickly. Because of their toughness and versatility I wear them at work. I value this piece of gear and would buy another pair.
