I'm a huge fan of the G1000 fabric. This looks like a shirt but is really a jacket. I have it in Green with Olive highlights Lots of compliments. At the risk of losing a bit of its "classic" retro-look, I woul add a cinch at the bottom to seal out wind, and adjust straps integrated into the hood. Fjallraven offers that on their Eco shell rain jacket among others. The build quality is typical Fjallraven- excellent. Remember that this is only a shell- buy it large enough for layering in cold weather. Although all G1000 products come waxed from the factory, I suggest you wax it using the Fjallr...

this is made from G1000 fabric which is thick and solid.
no pockets on this version of the thing but that’s ok.
Large fits perfectly on my 6’1” 180 frame.
i’d wear it a lot more often if we had more cold weather where i live.

Sharp, but lacks a lot

This jacket runs small. There are only pockets high on the chest, no pockets where one would put keys, hands,etc.

Great Jacket

This jacket looks great and feels like it is going to last a life time. I had recently ordered the original greenland jacket in a medium, while it looked very nice, did not fit by body type very well. After returning it, I thought I would give the greenland no. 1 special edition a try in a large, and am really glad I did. Weirdly enough, the large in this jacket was much smaller than the medium
