Fashion over function?
Great style, well-made, feels nice to wear. But - not waterproof, and can't be made so with their Greenland Wax (also a big hassle to apply), too heavy/bulky for backpacking or climbing. best hiking jacket
Fjallraven makes great outdoor gear, that's all there is to it. I love this jacket, but a few items to note if you are considering one
This jacket will resist drizzle, but it is not a rain jacket. The G-1000 material on the hood, shoulders, lower sleeves, and lower torso can be easily treated with Greenland wax and can be highly water resistant; however, the other panels are a much stretchier material. I treat the G-1000 with wax, then treat the stretchy panels with Nikwax or Cabela's waterproofing spray. It will do great in anything but a sustained downpour.

Clever, multipurpose jacket
Got this jacket for my partner who really likes it. He says it's cleverly made, really appreciates the vents on the side and the stretch panels in strategic places. For him it's also plenty warm in milder winter conditions and it's easily combined with layers underneath.

Reasonable price!!
Best chioce when I am in camp site.. It fits me well( chest 113, waist 35.5inch), except sleeve length. but sleeve velcro can cover that enough. Black color is nice to me too. I'd recommend it to everyone who love outdoorlife.

Great fit nice performance
I bought this twice and this jacket is great, fit for me. It shows nice performance, good enough for outdoor activities, has no friction, easy to move. It is covered with durable febric. The design appeals to young generation. I frequently wear this not only go tracking but also go out in urban area.
