Garmin's S1 large tripod

I found that I had no confidence and the build quality of this tripod to support my trap trainer that cost $1000. When fully extended it seems flimsy, I made a weight bag but it squats the legs of the tripod, I could not find any specs on the tripod as far as supporting weight. Garmin should be reassessing the $100 price tag it feels this tripod is valued, if I was to physically see this in a store, I would not be interested in it at all any point.
