These boots appear ruggedly built yet are not heavy and clunky. They fit well and are not stiff out of the box. Too bad they are being discontinued but afforded me the opportunity to buy them at a steal.

I bought these boots as a replacement for my Limmer Hiking boots which I have owned for 26 yrs. I wanted a lightweight waterproof boot that provides support for hiking and be comfortable at an affordable price. This boot does it all. After the break in the boots became more comfortable. Good looking and well designed mid hiking boot. Comfortable, waterproof, short break-in time. A little narrow, but break in well after use. Best for wet spring and fall hiking.

Boot feels a bit large for its size, the laces ride close to the top of the tongue ....now for the good parts...excellent sole. Great support. Breaths better than most

I'm a mountain hiker. The Garmont Zenith boots are great so far. Other reviews I've read have commented that they are very durable. All I know is that They look great, fast break-in and perform well. They were also a ridiculously good value.

I recently broke these boots in during a 200+ mile excursion through the rocky terrain of central and south Virginia along the AT trail and am thoroughly pleased with their performance. I was overpacked but the boots handled the extra weight great. I only developed a small blister on a heel but that was easily remedied with mole-skin. The Gortex worked great...the boots breathed very well and kept
